Unit plan and Assessment
Students brainstorm vocabulary which can be used to describe pictures which form a story. The students then put the words on the board to make a sentence which describes the picture. The teacher corrects and gives feedback. Students copy the sentences from the board into a notebook and do exercise to practice the sentences and vocabulary. Each unit ends with a writing assignment where students write a story to describe the story. The story is collected, marked, and returned with feedback.
